![]() Because if you think about it, if you were to increase the size of the boundary, people would still say "But theres so much buildable area just beyond this boundary why can't I use it?". Now what I believe is that the idea overall of maxis' Multiplayer has also put some influence on the overall idea of sizes and this has kind of overtime melded into the whole "Processor power needed made us sacrifice city sizes". But its not like the game is unplayable to low end users because the city sizes are increased, but I can see that the issue that arises here is that if they were to simply increase city limits that would tempt as a bit of carrot on a stick for low end users as a "buildable place they can never reach". I understand low end computers would stall out if you were to remove the city limits, but I what I get is maxis placed a restriction on the upper tier of gamers to even out the playing field. ![]() Everyone reaches a set cap and you are stuck working on maintaining that "ant farm". I feel like the option to build as far as you want or can has been taken out. I can definitely see where they are coming from with large cities affecting small cities and that is fine because with my cities I have pushed the amount of buildings to quite large amounts and there are issues you see arise. ![]() I figured this would be a good place to put my two cents on the whole processor power for size balance.
